Event Registration:

There’s no better time than on the eve of the Steel City Derby between Sheffield Wednesday and Sheffield United at Hillsborough to open registration for SFD 8. The seventh Sheffield Fans Derby took place in aid of Amy’s Retreat in May 2011 at Bramall Lane and, due to circumstances detailed in a previous article, the October 2011 event didn’t take place.

But we’re back and it’s time for you to register your interest for a place representing YOUR team in Sheffield Fans Derby 8 in aid of charity. Registering for a place has never been easier! All you need to do is fill in an event registration form which can be found on the website under EVENT REGISTRATION. Once you have completed that form then simply e-mail it to registration@sheffieldfansderby.co.uk

The registration process will stay open for three weeks and close on Sunday 17th March 2012 at 5pm. Entries after this date will not be entered for selection.

This is Stage 1 of the registration process. Stage 2 will be the acceptance of a place within the squad of your chosen team and Stage 3 will be the payment process.

When is the date and where is the venue for SFD 8? We are in discussions with a number of grounds to stage the event. However, with both Sheffield teams being in play-off contention, the two big grounds are reluctant to commit to allowing us to use their grounds at this time. You will not be asked to enter the payment process of Event Registration until the venue and date are confirmed. The player registration fee and minimum sponsorship fee will also be advised nearer the time once the details are known.
