Sheffield 2 Blackpool Cycle ride success!
It was an 8am start from various points of the City and 8 riders converged on Bamford. From there they took the route through Castleton and over Mam Tor. Through Stockport, onto Manchester and lunch after 50 miles. Around 60 miles and one of the riders suffering from an injury had to bow out and take the train. From a team of 8, they became the magnificent 7 and carried on….and on. A couple of chain mishaps, and one puncture didn’t dampen the spirits. Through to Lytham & St Anne’s and a finish in front of Blackpool Tower at 7pm…with over 100 miles covered.

Sheffield Fans Derby would like to thank all those that took part, provided support, sponsored, and cheered on the team. The £1k target has been broken and at the last count we had broken the 1.5k barrier.
